HedgeCo is looking for an experienced and outgoing individual to spearhead its community building initiatives.

This position calls for in-depth knowledge of the hedge fund industry, as well as excellent online writing and communication skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to; communicating with hedge fund managers, answering questions related to our sites, following and contributing to external blogs and hedge fund related news sources.

Previous online community building and web2.0 experience required.

You will work as part of our HedgeCo.net promotions team and can work from either our New York or West Palm Beach offices.

Data Entry Specialist

Description
Our data entry specialist will handle the entry and retrieval of data into our online database systems. They will be working with hedge fund managers to enter hedge fund details into our database as well as oversee the entry and retrieval of data into various other database systems. The candidate will also scrub lists and do on-line research to find information not available in our database.

Requirements
  • Working with SQL based databases (specifically MySQL)
  • Expert knowledge of Excel
  • 60 WPM typing
  • Expert knowledge of Word processing tools

Sales Executive

We are currently seeking an aggressive and motivated Advertising Sales Executive. The role will entail selling online advertising in the financial services field. This role offers growth in sales, account management and has an unlimited potential of commission based sales

Requirements
  • 2 years experience in online advertising sales
  • PC proficiency with knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Intra/ Internet tools (browser, etc).
  • Excellent relationship skills
  • High achievement / results oriented
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new interactive sales opportunities
  • Selling online directory advertisements to industry providers
  • Cold calling national and international businesses within the hedge fund industry
  • Following up on warm leads generated from the website
  • Implement interactive advertising solutions for clients
  • Meet / Exceed quarterly quotas
  • Responsible for account growth, retention and overall satisfaction
